Poetry can be a way of going beneath the surface of a subject through close observation, listening and reflection. Poems about the body can sharpen our senses, show us what we might not otherwise have noticed and lead to new discoveries. Together with the participants we will comment on some poems of famous international poets on the subject and we will write (and then workshop) an original poem about it. «To have great poets, there must be great audiences, too» Walt Whitman
